A revealing stage for the various teams involved, with a 1:1 production sample produced for review and handling in the real world. Have we got it right? Does the practical application of the design in service, fit tests and overall aesthetic balance and efficiency, achieve all the design objectives?

If not, it’s back to the designers for adjustments, or sometimes a complete redesign. Then once again through the costing stage and on to another prototype. It must be right.

This constant process of refinement only ends when your team is delighted with the result and move forward with approval for full production.
